and conveniences whether of a permanent or temporary nature which may seem to the General Committee directly or indirectly conducive to the Company's objects and to conduct, hold and promote flying and other athletic meetings and matches and flying exhibitions and otherwise utilize the Company's property and rights and to give and contribute towards prizes, cups, stakes and other rewards.

(k) To establish, maintain, and conduct a Club for the accommodation of members of the Company and such Honorary Members, friends of members, visitors and candidates for membership and others as the General Committee under their powers in the Regulations and Bye-Laws of the Club shall determine, and to provide a club-house and other conveniences and generally to afford to members and such other persons as aforesaid all the usual privileges, ad- vantages, conveniences and accommodations of a club and in connection therewith to carry on the business of hotel-keepers, tavern keepers, licensed victuallers and refresh- ment purveyors in all their branches.

(1) To hire and employ treasurers, clerks, managers, servants and workmen and to pay to them and to other persons in return for services rendered to the Company salaries, wages, gratuities and pensions.

(m) To give subscriptions or donations to the funds of any charitable or benevolent institu- tion or project and to establish promote or as- sist in promoting and to subscribe to or become a member of any other association or club
